PVC Products
Making superior quality pipe while remaining highly cost-efficient is the motivating force at Silver-Line. The combination of efficiency, advanced technology, production capacity, and dedicated research and development gives us an edge when it comes to delivering quality products.
To maintain a competitive edge, we:
- Were the first pipe manufacturer in North America to have a fully computerized blending plant for PVC Pipe. This has resulted in an improved consistency of compound, reduced material waste, added flexibility in production output, and an overall increase in productivity.
- Expanded upon Eurpoean technology to create CoExtruded Cellular Core Pipe as a cost effective alternative to solid wall pipe in non-pressure applications. Silver-Line holds the U.S. patent for the extrusion of dual-line CoEx Cellular Core products.
- Pioneered the use of computer grade power for our extrusion equipment which in turn increased productivity - resulting in our own patented technology.
DWV (Drain-Waste-Vent)
PVC DWV pipe is used in sanitary drainage, waste, and vent systems, and in storm drainage systems. PVC DWV pipe can be used in residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
Silver-Line offers the following types of PVC DWV
Pressure Pipe
PVC Pressure pipe is primarily used in water service systems. PVC Pressure pipe can be used in residential, commercial, and industrial applications as a water main, from main to house or from well to house. Moreover, it is often used in the well to hang the pump or foot valve.
Pressure pipe is available in the following sizes.
- Schedule 40 — 1/2"-12"
- SDR-13.5 — 1/2"
- SDR-21 — 3/4"-6"
- SDR-26 — 1-1/4"-6"

- Building sewers and underground drains
- Storm drainage
- House connections to septic tanks
- Leaching system piping for septic tank effluent
- Footing drains (foundation drains)
- Industrial waste disposal
- Land drainage
We offer Sewer and Drain pipe in 3" to 8" diameters in solid, perforated, and gasketed. For more information on PVC Sewer & Drain Pipe, refer to our PDF document,

Schedule 80
PVC Schedule 80 is produced from Type 1, Grade 1, virgin PVC compound and meets or exceeds the requirements of ASTM D 1785. This product is available in both plain and threaded end. Threaded pipe is supplied with a plastic cap on each end to protect the thread until installation. We use a unique, lathe-type tool to thread our PVC Schedule 80. First, the pipe end is champhered and beveled to ease the initial coupling of the threads and to allow better tightening. The pipe is then rotated while the threads are being precision cut with a stationary lathe tool bit, making our threaded PVC Schedule 80 the standard in the industry.
Specifically manufactured for use in the well drilling industry, PVC Schedule 80 has seen increased popularity and usage as a result of its resilience to water and soil conditions and heavier working pressure ratings. Sold with an optional threaded end, this product is often preferred by well drilling professionals.

Well Casing
Silver-Line PVC Well Casing is the standard bearer for the well drilling industry. Although used primarily to line wells for drinking water, PVC Well Casing pipe is also a superior monitor pipe.
Silver-Line PVC Well Casing is made from high quality, virgin PVC compound and is manufactured under exacting quality control standards. This product meets or exceeds all requirements of ASTM F 480 and offers a high quality alternative to other Well Casing systems.
Silver-Line advantages include:
- Non-corrosion
- Resistance to micro- and macro-biological attack
- Lighter weight
- Competitive price
- Ease of handling and installation
- Impact classification 2 ("IC-2") of ASTM F 480, a more rigorous standard than required
- Laying Length pipe resulting in a full 20 feet of pipe even after the pipe is joined

PE Products
Silver-Line introduced PE 3408 Polyethylene pipe to the U.S. market in 1980. Because PE 3408 resin has a higher hydrostatic design stress rating than conventional materials, PE 3408 pipe has a 25% higher pressure rating than conventional pipes with the same wall thickness. Our IPS and CTS 200# pipe is dual-marked for 3406 and 3408 (since it meets both standards) giving you more control over inventory and costs.
PE pipe, due to its flexibility, is easily installed, requiring only minimal labor. The product is also highly chemically resistant, has a long life expectancy, and is not susceptible to rust, rot, or electrolysis. Polyethylene 3408 material is the strongest PE material available today for Jet and submersible pumps, water distribution lines, and piping for other liquids. Our NSF-listed PE products also have a long life warranty.
Silver-Line polyethylene is color coded according to product type, which assists in the identification of stocked products. We offer shrink-wrapping, which assists in unloading and handling. We can also provide special polyethylene coil lengths.
